Desktop Services
A robust, cost effective desktop computer combined with reliable and appropriate software applications, is key to efficient business operation. Senate® Desktop Services provide comprehensive desktop lifecycle management from procurement to disposal. This offering is provided in compliance with the ITIL framework.
The standard Desktop Service offering comprises of:
- Desktop Management, encompassing all hardware and software administration.
- Onsite or Field-based Deskside Support, with target fix times of four or eight hours, dependent upon the agreed service level. For a combination of site based and remote support, hot swap equipment can be administered from local and central locations.
- Software Control, including configuration and management to evaluate all new software and ensure that these will not adversely affect existing PC builds.
- Build management to ensure that the user receives minimal disruption and down time.
- Technology Roadmaps to ensure that standard policies are maintained. If required, equipment can be ring-fenced to guarantee availability.
- Incident Management to ensure service excellence. The incident management process begins with the detection and recording of the incident, followed by initial support to the end user and incident classification. The incident is investigated, the failure is diagnosed and the affected IT service is restored.
- Dedicated Call Management to manage the engineers’ call queues and workload, ensuring delivery of the contracted service.
